It's almost the 4th of July weekend! We're looking forward to spending time with family and friends, while enjoying the sun and good food. If you're looking for some last minute things to do for the weekend, we've gathered a few festive events happening around Los Angeles.
Spend the day at the Fisherman's Village, a replica of a New England seaport and fishing town. You can stroll through the quiet harbor front and enjoy views of the passing sailboats. Make a reservation at one of the waterfront restaurants closer to dinner, so you can get a prime seating to enjoy the fireworks at night.
Nothing beats being on a rooftop and watching the 4th of July fireworks. Head to the Sinder Lounge in Marina Del Rey for Independence Day festivities and barbecue. Later in the day, make your way to the rooftop for drinks and the best view of the fireworks show.
Celebrate Independence Day at the Hollywood Bowl with the band Kool & the Gang. The Hollywood Orchestra will also be performing some patriotic pieces. The annual party is a day-long event and will conclude with a grand fireworks finale.
One of the biggest shows in Los Angeles, AmericaFest at the Rose Bowl Stadium is an annual celebration of all things red, white and blue. Following last year's virtual event, AmericaFest will take place in person this year with its theme, "Celebrating America's Perseverance". The all-day event will include musical performances, motocross stunts, and a fireworks show to end the day.
