There is no better time than now to express our gratitude by giving back. If you're looking for ways to take care of the communities around us, here are a few ways you can give back this Thanksgiving.
Food on Foot
A nonprofit dedicated to assisting the unhoused and low income neighbors within Los Angeles, Food on Foot provides nutritious meals, clothing, and a fresh start through permanent housing, full-time employment and life-skills training. This Thanksgiving, people can volunteer to help distribute over 500 meals to those in need.
Therapeutic Riding Center, Dream Catcher of Los Angeles, is a local organization that focuses on horse therapy. The center uses equine therapy to help improve the mind, body and spirit of those with with cognitive, physical and emotional disabilities.
