With the warmer weather, spring in Los Angeles is the perfect season for picnics! Our local parks, beaches, and lots of open-air venues are offering a bunch of outdoor spots for eating outdoors. We've gathered a few of our favorite spots around town to sunbathe and enjoy a nice lunch outside.
Filled with ocean breeze and palm trees, Palisades Park stretches along Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica. With grass areas and benches throughout the entire park, there's lots of designated picnic areas and spots to lay down a blanket. Enjoy a nice picnic lunch with a beautiful scenic view of the Pacific ocean.
Exposition Park Rose Garden
The Rose Garden at Exposition Park has lots of good spots to sit down for a picnic among the flowers. If you're looking for some shade, rest in one of the gazebos then take a stroll through the garden afterwards.
With its rolling hills and picnic tables, Vista Hermosa is an urban natural park located next to downtown. It offers a clear view of the DTLA skyline and also features walking trails and streams.
Located in Eagle Rock, Milkfarm offers ready-to-go picnic boxes that perfectly serves two to four people. The selection includes their specialty Artisan cheese, along with other hand-selected and curated food products. Pick up one of their boxes and head over to a spot nearby for an easy picnic.
