Every year on April 15th, World Art Day celebrates the fine arts and promotes creativity worldwide. Its celebration strengthens the link between art and society, encourages awareness of artistic expressions and highlights the contribution of creative artists. World Art Day was held for the first time in Los Angeles, and every year thereafter, it has been celebrated locally and nationally.
"Art nurtures creativity, innovation and cultural diversity for all peoples across the globe and plays an important role in sharing knowledge and encouraging curiosity and dialogue."
This year, the city of Los Angeles will be hosting World Art Day festivities in a new virtual way. The celebrations will include a special virtual exhibition centered on the theme You're Not Alone, and will be a way to connect artists nationwide.
The Downtown Los Angeles Art Walk helps underserved youth, artists, galleries, and art related small businesses throughout the city. The Art Walk, which is located along Spring and Main Streets in Downtown Los Angeles, is a self-guided art experience of local galleries, artist studios and cultural events.

Located in the heart of the city's art movement, the Spring Arts Collective is an art gallery featuring some of the most unique artists in Los Angeles. The gallery hosts shows on Saturdays throughout the year with outside artists as well.
